Sometimes you just want a sound to play and no visuals, for that I just make a text aura with no text in it. Selecting an individual aura or group will give customization options for those.įirst figure out what you want to track, and how you want it to look. Currently selected new, shows the different types or auras you can create.

From left to right, Check box to disable importing auras, Collapse WA options to a bar (mainly to view how auras look on your screen), and close.ĥ) Aura Options. Plus or Minus collapses the groups.Ĥ) Global options. Eye turns on (green lfg icon), and off, either individual auras, entire groups, or loaded/unloaded groups. sorted by currently loaded, then alphabetical.ģ) Visibility options. (Note: some large groups might not export to string properly, there is a text limit, so make sure you can re-import them before saving the string).Ģ) List of aura's. Store the file in a Dropbox or somewhere else on your computer, or just leave it in the same folder.Īlternatively you can create a Github, or Pastebin account (both free), and just use the export to string option and save them in files on those accounts. Personal suggestion is just creating a new name so that no other mods or WA itself might randomly modify it. The simplest is just backup the file found in "World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\YOURACCOUNTNAMEORNUMBER\SavedVariables\a", either by coping it with a different file name, or overriding "". There are a couple ways to back up your auras. DO THIS BEFORE UPDATING THE ADDON AT ANYTIME, or importing large aura groups. This is by far the most important thing so I'm covering it first.

I'm using ElvUI which skin's away some of the look of WA's. Some of the images linked may not be exactly the way you see it. I wanted to do it in text because it allows you to search the post for what you're looking for instead of trying to find where in a video something randomly is. This will try and be the best TLDR tutorial I can do. Added link to official documentation in advance resources.
